If you are visiting Australia for short - term business purposes, including informal studies/training, business and educational meetings, conferences, seminars and conventions, then make sure you apply for an Australia Business Long Visa ETA.

This Visa type means you can stay in Oz for up to 3 months on each visit for the life of your passport.

In addition to the above, to qualify for this Visa type you must be outside Australia and hold a valid ETA passport.

A Hong Kong Document of Identity (HKDI) cannot be used to apply for an ETA. Residents of Hong Kong require a citizen passport to apply for this visa.

** Holders of Taiwan passports can only be processed for an ETA if residing and applying in Taiwan. Applications can be lodged with an approved ETA Travel Agent in Taiwan or Australian Visa Services office in Taipei.

An ETA (Electronic Travel Authority) is an electronically stored authority for travel to Australia, which in turn has replaced the traditional visa stamp in your passport. The Tourist Visa (ETA) is valid for 12 months from the date it is granted. You are permitted multiple stays of up to 3 months over the 12 month validity period.

	You must have no criminal convictions.
	Applicants must be outside Australia to apply.
	You are NOT permitted to work on this visa.
	You can study in Australia on an Australia Tourist Visa (ETA) as long as the course you undertake does not exceed more than 3 months in length.
