Australian Visa

If you are planning a trip to Australia, whether it's to live, for business reasons or even a holiday then you must attain an Australian Visa. This is because the Australian Government enforces one of the most robust immigration systems, making them one of the hardest countries worldwide to obtain a Visa for. Each different Visa type has its own application requirements and obligations when in Australia. We are here to provide you a guide of the different Visa types available and to help you process your Visa application.

Australian ETA Tourist Visa

Australian ETA Tourist Visas are one of the more basic Visas. Australian Immigration requires applicants to hold an ETA eligible passport from 1 of the 34 ETA eligible countries and restricts the time spent in Australia. If granted the ETA Visa is valid for 12 months and allows several visits to Australia within this period. Each visit is subject to a 3 month stay and applicants cannot work. The Visa is designed for informal study, holidays and leisure only. Stays in excess of 3 months are not allowed on this Visa and an Australia Long Stay Visa may be more suitable.

Australian ETA Business Visa

Australian ETA Business Visas guarantee you can stay in Australia on a short term basis for business purposes such as networking, informal studies, seminars, conferences or conventions. There are 2 types of Australian ETA Business Visas. The Business Short means you can stay in Australia for a maximum of three months, on any one visit to Australia within 12 months (or for the life of the passport if it expires in less than 12 months). The Business Long is more expensive because once granted you can stay in Australia for up to 3 months on each visit for the life of your passport. This is ideal for frequent visits to Australia.

Australian Working Holiday Visa

Australian Working Holiday Visas are designed for those wanting an extended holiday in Australia whilst supplementing your holiday with casual work. This Visa lets you enter Australia within 12 months from the date it is granted and then allows you to stay in Australia for up to 12 months. You can even leave the country and re-enter as many times as you like during the validity of the Visa. Many people travel around and get seasonal jobs like fruit picking, farming or bar work for several weeks or months at a time, proving a valuable life experience and good way of making extra money.
